Charred Apizza is a Pizza concept based out of Eugene Oregon. It’s the vision & love of two friends David and Terry to bring the best possible pizza to the Willamette Valley. We aren’t set in our ways and are consistently trying to better ourselves in the craft of pizza. We currently working on opening our brick & mortar. We also do pop ups, private events and weddings.
Chef David Lucht is a classically trained chef with over 30 years of kitchen experience. He’s worked in local culinary favorites Zenon Cafe, Excelsior Inn and most recently owned and operated Ciao Pizza Trattoria. His love of making and serving the best food possible is what drives his passion. David is a master in the kitchen and is continuously trying to make things better…
Dough nerd Terry is a believer in always making the dough better. It’s a living thing and is different from day to day, this is what feeds the mind of a dough nerd. He’s had the luck of learning a great bit from bread master Ryan Moore…it’s where the flame was lit as they say. From bread, it naturally went to pizza. He’s constantly learning and perfecting new styles and dough formulas.
